Shoes and art: Christian Louboutin campaign for autumn/winter 2012

Fashion goes hand in hand with art and art go hand in hand with fashion. Here is what Christian Louboutin surely thought during the creation of this unique, original and remarkable lookbook for next autumn/ winter. Dreamy shoes, true works of art. The photographer Peter Lippman has been able to capture the models as long ago did the painters, capturing the essence of the moment and the unique atmosphere, an outstanding job. Christian Louboutin certainly didn’t feel intimidated by the confrontation with the eternal and immortal paintings, but even managed to enrich them, even with a hint of irony, in my view! Draping, ruffles, rich fabrics that unite in an optimum way to the 7 "specimen" of Louboutin, that certainly know how to make us dream with open eyes!

“Jeune fille à la Puck” ispirato a “Magdalene and the flame”

“La marquise Artemis Griffon” ispirato a “Marquise D’Antin”.
